The popular night time venue, Albert & Co’s Frankville in Shrewsbury, is currently on the market as the owners shift their focus to their upcoming larger venue, Albert & Co Fairground, set to open in Southwater, Telford.

David Gregg, the company’s general manager, confirmed that the Frankville location is being marketed for sale by Sidney Phillips as the lease renewal date approaches. The owners are exploring various options for the future of the business, including potential disposal.

With a recent £70,000 refurbishment and a steady stream of bookings, the business is listed for offers around £50,000. Despite its success, the owners feel the strain on their small management team with the addition of a new, larger venue in Telford.

Mr. Gregg assured that all current staff will be retained and relocated to Albert’s Shed in Shrewsbury if the sale goes through. The new owners will also be encouraged to honor existing bookings and agreements.

The owners see the Frankville venue as a great opportunity for a husband and wife team, with two bars and a prime location just across the river from the town center. The venue boasts sales of around £8,000 per week, making it an attractive prospect for potential buyers.
