Unicorn and Pink Bathroom Boost Buyer Appeal at 9/1 Marshall Place, Clifton Hill

Interior design queen Liz Ride recently sold her home at 9/1 Marshall Place, Clifton Hill for $112,000 more than expected, thanks in part to her unique and creative interior design choices. Liz, along with her husband Rob and daughter Ottie, added eye-catching features like a pink bathroom and a unicorn on the living room wall, which proved to be a hit with buyers.

Studio Tate residential interior design leader and the home’s owner Liz Ride, along with her family, sold the home for more than expected despite a nerve-racking start to the auction. The auctioneer had to kick things off with a $1.2 million vendor bid, but eventually, the home’s $1.3 million reserve was reached and the property was called on the market.

The unique interior design elements, including the unicorn and pink bathroom, added to the charm of the property and helped attract more buyers. The auction eventually reached $1.412 million, with a third bidder joining in from Darwin to claim the keys.

Overall, the success of the sale was credited to Liz Ride’s interior design input, which helped to boost buyer appeal and ultimately led to a higher sale price. The family plans to use the extra funds for updates on their next home and a well-deserved trip to Europe.
