Hottest Real Estate Markets in Upstate New York According to National Association of Realtors Data

The real estate market in Upstate New York is heating up, with multiple locations in the region ranking among the hottest in the U.S. in April. According to data from the National Association of Realtors, the 14626 ZIP code in the town of Greece, just outside Rochester, was the fifth hottest location in the country last month.

In fact, most of the hottest real estate markets in New York were found in Upstate New York in April, with just five ZIP codes among the top 25 located downstate. A total of six ZIP codes in the state made it into the top 50 nationwide, including locations in Rochester, Pittsford, Vestal, and Syracuse.

The rankings were determined by a “hotness score” metric, which takes into account both supply and demand scores in each ZIP code. The supply score ranks median days on the market, while the demand score ranks page views of listings on realtor.com.

Overall, it’s clear that the real estate market in Upstate New York is booming, making it a prime location for buyers and sellers alike.
