Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department Signs Cooperation Agreement with Khorfakkan Municipal Council
Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (SRERD) and the Municipal Council of Khorfakkan have recently signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at enhancing electronic services and streamlining real estate procedures in the city. The agreement allows the Municipal Council to access real estate data electronically, making it easier for residents and investors to obtain property information without the need to visit SRERD’s building.
The agreement was signed by Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi, Director General of SRERD, and Dr. Rashid Khamis Al-Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Municipal Council, in the presence of other officials from both sides. Through this collaboration, the aim is to provide seamless services, stimulate investment opportunities, and create a unified database for property inquiries in Khorfakkan.
Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al-Shamsi emphasized the importance of digital integration between the two entities, highlighting the benefits of the electronic-link project in saving time and effort for customers. Dr. Rashid Khamis Al-Naqbi expressed gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing the role of technology in facilitating transactions and supporting economic development.
