Breathtaking Views and Self-Sufficient Living in Belair Home: A Dream Lifestyle for Sale

Elena Vereker and Lee Cumberlidge fell in love with their self-sufficient Belair home seven years ago, thanks to its uninterrupted views over the suburbs, city, and sea. Now, they are saying goodbye to their breathtaking sanctuary as they put it on the market for $1.35m to $1.48m.

The couple was drawn to the lifestyle the 4.05ha allotment offered their active family, but it was the stunning views that truly captured their hearts. From stunning sunrises to incredible sunsets, and even a glimpse of the planes landing at the Eyre Peninsula on clear days, the couple has cherished every moment spent admiring the picturesque scenery.

Aside from the mesmerizing views, the layout of the home has been ideal for their family, with the master suite at one end and the other three bedrooms and study at the opposite end. The spacious open-plan kitchen, family, and meals area provide a perfect gathering space, while multiple outdoor entertainment areas offer views over the surrounding gardens and hills.

One of the highlights of the home is the off-grid solar and battery system, recently upgraded to accommodate a family of five. With a brand new setup including panels, inverters, and a backup generator, the home is all set for sustainable living.

As the couple looks to be closer to ageing parents, they are ready to pass on the torch to a new family who can enjoy the same self-sufficient lifestyle they have cherished. While they will miss their beloved home, they are excited for someone else to experience the joy and wonder of living in such a stunning location.
